Since 1949 the U.S. has given Israel a total of $83.205 billion. The interest costs borne by U.S. tax payers on behalf of Israel are $49.937 billion, thus making the total amount of aid given to Israel since 1949 $133.132 billion. This may mean that U.S. government has given more federal aid to the average Israeli citizen in a given year than it has given to the average American citizen!!!
I am angry when I see Israeli settlers from Hebron destroy improvements made to Shuhada Street with my tax money. Also, it angers me that my government is giving over $10 billion to a country that is more prosperous than most of the other countries in the world and uses much of its money for strengthening its military and the oppression of the Palestinian people.

Tom is one of many examples in the USA and other parts of the world who began to realise and understand. I came across with such an example at spain; where this little town decided to celelebrate "Palestine Jenocide" on the same day that Europe celebrates the "Hollocoste day". unfortunately, this small town had to cancel the celebration of the 2 events.
I think people who were "heptothised" are being waking up... hopefully!

the usa spent MORE money on egypt than israel (camp david accords, plus the 11 BILLION it gave them NOT to fight in gulf war one)
the usa spends 110 BILLION a year on nato
the usa spends billions on the palestinians, jordanians & other gulf arabs
the usa spends billions securing the oil routes for the trillionaries the arabs...

for the NUMBERS thing, i really dont know why you care about the amount of money that american writer is menitioning in his article i think that what really matters is that he was really angrey for the purpose that money is used for. i mean as a normal human being who knows that his money is being used for killing people he should be more than angrey even if that money is only one hundred dolars, and when you said that :

and we all know that they do spend money in arabic countries including Plestine as away to control these countries with their own agenda...

What is occupation:
I beleive you answered yourself. America spends money on its interests, whether it's Israel, Arab "trillionaires" , oil routes, or whatever.
If war in the middle east is of America's interest, then it will spend money accordingly.
If the death of Palestinians and Jews is of any use, then billions will be spent on weapons and peace negotiations.
